i s'pose i could have easily drawn a picture.
it'd be a world as black as it has been painted.
carriages would be very rarely seen at any door;
a door in its appearance would be simple and obvious
and the wayfarer would never know the happiness
of their own God-given children and grandchildren.
the symbol of duty would be the salty tears cried
while deciding upon the superiority of age or youth,
as by now both have left me in a muted perversion.
