Your determination stifles me,

Cuts me to the quick, off at the knee.

I often wonder how this could be

When my personae is so very carefree.

What you want for me is not the same

As to how I hold you to blame

Of what you have said, it's a shame

I wish that I could restate, rename

Our short-lived relationship, and start again.

Where would we now begin?

To be without you is life in sin,

I just long to be included within.
