Touch

by Rhonda Maneki

You have touched without a touch.

~skin to skin~

You have caressed so sweetly with
the gentleness within you.

~ soul to soul~

You have journeyed with me,
to places I had not ventured.

~heart to heart~

Forever etched within me.

~ tenderness to tenderness~

~exhale and breathe~

this was probably written for an adult love...but it brought to mind an afternoon with my son when he had just learned to read by himself and he curled up next to me on the couch and read me a story of far away places we both wanted to see...beautiful poem, my dear.

I agree this is such a beautiful delicate piece.

True love transcends time and space, absolutely.... *sigh*

Have you ever heard Seal's "Touch?" I would recommend reading this while listening to that. Perfect. Beautiful words Rhonda.
