Time, that once long had kept your love from me

While I do wait, as the lengthening day

Gives me this chance, the opportunity

To succinctly while the hours away.

Time is a bandit, perennial thief

That has kept me from you so very long.

This much i know, this my belief

That was never right, moreso simply wrong.

So, now our time has come, once was lost

And your sweetest heart is so joined with mine.

Let the ravages of time do their worst

While I again meditate, so sublime.

Now that time has thusly run its true course

My once held fears lost, without such remorse.
