Shuddering breezes

by A. Paige White

I shutter you not
Adore a door
the open heart
thrown wide
writhe my sail
four write
And adrift us
  gif us
on tornadic heights
blew to blue
going to black

go back
two don't go back

Katrina
oh Katrina you
blew so blue
We recover yet
and peek from hiding places
in our hearts

The winds do blow
with a hammering fist
and cease with no kiss
we soar
on eagle's wings
higher yet

Writing writhes
a sinuous berth
with pauses and gusts
not silenced but quiescent
for tumultuous farewell

thus shudders the breeze
shutters thrown wide o'pen

Creativity unleashed! Wow, Paige, I do get that, "far flung" feeling. Nice job! Thanks.
