Last night I was young

by Janine Euladia

Last night I was young
as centuries before

I dance and pranced,
performed, romanced

And... I was a flirt,
in a horrible way

Musicians and jesters,
hired help too

But still later
when the morning drew,

I was so relieved
to have wakend here with you.
