The moon last night

The moon last night,
shown your face
Beyond it's depths,
outer space
How far does this go?
I wanted to know

Pondering a minute,
studying the sky
The stars I could see,
twinkled at me
Deep velvet behind,
Just fantasy

Waves crashed down,
shouting,
stealing ground beneath
and to return
lapping my toes and feet

The patient face of the moon
last night lit my starry eyes
Yet, it wouldn't
Couldn't
Answere
I
