Memoirs of meeting by Janine EuladiaMet my lover at a rest stop
It was he, that began our talk
Bare feet in the sun, unmindfull ho-hum
I didn't know, what already begun
He sang a song or two, invisable flowers grew
Like magic I didn't see, what my heart already knew
Paper with digits, like hooks and lines
would reeled us in, in short time
The reddish glow,the settting sun
A sudden pang, desire begun
In my rearview mirror, a sunset drew
And there I was longing for you
This was news, so unaware
Nice that my heart chose to share
He was a stranger, I already knew
The prelude was over, the curtain drew
Music begun, the osngs were blessed
The hearts that sang, were finally at rest 02/15/2005 Author's Note: I sat in the bright morning sun on a sudden warm winter day, at a rest stop during a long drive. This beautiful stranger, said to me.. wait! And he ran and got his guitar
and sang to me.
