She has a smile that lights up my day,

The sweetest laughter that makes me say

How much her friendship means to me

In such a short time, how can this be?

I long to tell her so many words of my heart

Since the moment I met her, at the start

Of what we both are looking for.

You know that I want so much more.

Instead we share that smile

Laughing together, all the while.
