She has a smile that lights up my day

The sweetest laughter that makes me say

How much her friendship means to me.

In such a very short time, how can this be?

I long to tell her so many words of my heart

Since the moment we met, at the start

Of what we both are looking for.

You know how I want to say so much more.

Instead we share that same smile

Laughing together, all the while.
