It's usually clear
All indications say

perfunctory phone call
Short an curt not sweet
Not a single note
nor email receipt

Call me spoiled
Perhaps hard boiled
Maybe I'm raw
or la ti da da da

But I been around a bit
And I know.
When a man has interest
It will certainly show

And if it doesn't
He's holding back
And who'd want
A jack that'd act like that?

I though he was the kind
I could call my valentine
I went further than than I should
What a stupid pud

I'm wasting my time
I've made myself clear
I guess it's time
I'm out of here..........................
