What?

by Alisa Js

what are you thinking
really!
to invite me
when she's still there?
at least, all her things
still hanging in the closet,
like she never left
tho' she's been gone now
for how long?
hasn't it been almost ONE year!

and you really expect me to show up
and feel,
how exactly?
comfortable?
welcomed?
at peace?

when I know how she absolutely hated
the very mention of my name,
and you think this is normal?
I can come there to rest
when everywhere I'd look
traces of her,
in this place you both shared
this place called your home ...

if it's over, then why aren't her things gone?
packed in a box
to be shipped,
to wherever she is now,
the place where she lives ...

Whoa! Now that is one angry woman and one dumb guy, whoever they may be... Another of your poems whee you convey emotions so well with simplicity..
