Simon Says...

by Maria Francesca

Simon says
I shouldn't sing
Paula says
I sing quite well.
I'm not sure what Randy says;
it's always hard to tell.

Paula says I'm talented.
Randy says my voice is flat.
Simon says I sound
just like a lonely, dying cat.

Randy says that I'm his Dawg.
Paula says
I shoot, I score.
Simon says that he
cannot like music anymore.

Paula says I'm wonderful.
Randy says I'm outta sight!
Simon says I suck -

and hey,
let's face it -

Simon's right.

Oh my God, Maria, that was hilarious! It sounds just like what is probably going through the minds of every one of the kids on that show. I don't watch it anymore because I can't stand to watch them humiliated. And you're correct, Simon usually IS right!
