Timeless

and never do I see a trace
of the passage of the time
I can say that you are mine
I know that it is true
each time that I look at you
that God knew just what to do
when he made one heart of two
Timeless for you is my love
given by the Lords grace above
thorns within a velvet glove
eagles talons on a dove
Fists of fury and a heart of gold
shoulders firm and spirit bold
for your love my heart was sold
till the twilight years grow old
Of your fury I do have fear
but I know I must stay near
for in my heart it is clear
I love no other than you my dear
