For Mins

by Uriel Tovar

like a september's kiss
you held down the rain with your stare
swallowing all desires
into your charming abyss.

your smile
glows like a blue moon
flourescent but distant
plastered against
a still black landscape
drawing down into
the palm of my hand.

your tears are sweet
and fatty gumdrops
that get stuck in my teeth.
