Pretty Girl

by Razel Davies

You pretty girl,
How can you be alone?
Surely a tragedy,
Proof there is no God.

You wonderful girl,
How can your beauty be?
Truly a grace of Heaven,
Proof of a great God.

You beautiful girl,
Why can't I find one like you?
Your existence is a torment,
A wish I'll never be granted.

You lovely girl,
Who could deny you?
A mindless cad,
Unworthy of such grace.

You desirable girl,
I wish you could be mine.
Such beauty, such wonder,
At least give me your smile.

This is beautiful, when I close my eyes I feel a gentle longing.

So very beautiful. I wish someone would write a poem like this about me!
