of quarter of a century
the beauty of breath
the taking of the heart
The gentle caress
of that day, long ago…
when I held you
in my arms with love
Though moments so brief
as recorded not
yet, you're fading picture hangs…
upon the wall
Tonight
once again, on bended knee
I shall whisper your name
