In This Life by Joe CramerIn this life, that quietly defines me
Always brings such a sweet somber solace,
Difficult to define, harder to see.
A living that I would never erase,
So often I wonder, as to the why
Things have worked out now the way that they do.
So many times I could lay down and cry
While my spent feelings are still far too few.
Sometimes I want to sing, sometimes to shout!
If I could share my life with another,
Often afraid to let my feelings out.
So, instead I remain quiet, other
Than these words I pen, these words that I say
Of this somber solace, my life today. 02/06/2007 Posted on 02/06/2007 Copyright © 2024 Joe Cramer
