Never cozy beneath your sheets

by Megan Langley

Painful, silent cries wail from deep within her lungs;
How can love—hurt—so much, she wonders…
And there you lie,
So seemingly snug, curled within your sheets,
In complete and utter oblivion
Of the girl whose love incessantly stabs her wounded heart.
Yet, piercing pain is not enough to kill the growing
Passion seeded within her soul.
She loves you now,
She loves you later,
She loves you forever,
But will it matter?

what is it with women? why do we insist on ignoring our intuition and flay ourselves raw in order to be 'loved.' if he doesn't care enough to know you are hurting...he isn't worth the pain!
