Quiet People

by Joe Cramer

I am one of those quiet people

Who kind of melts into a crowd,

Doesn't play silly games, or tells jokes

And never talks too loud.

I enjoy meeting new friends,

And immediately forget their name.

Never with very much fanfare,

For me, it's always the same.

I like this quiet, unobserved life

Without too much angst or stress.

Even though I have quite a lot to say,

Life for me, you see, is not some test.
