My Goddess

Shadow and Death
I shall fear no evil.
For your love
Is with me.
As I walk through the chambers of
My nightmares
I shall fear no pain.
For your strength
Protects me.
As I live my life
Day to day
I shall never be afraid.
For you are by my side.
For as long as you are with me
I will be Brave
and Strong
and Full of love.
As long as I am all of these
I will be yours. 01/23/2007 Author's Note: I haven't written anything in a long while so this one is still very rough. I'm also not quite sure of the title as of yet.

| Posted by Genevieve Sturrock on 01/23/07 at 06:00 PM I really like the feel of this. I love the Psalm 23 and all it stands for...so the title kinda irked me after reading the first line. But the poem itself is a wonderful tribute to the strength we gain from love. |
