Rapscallion Youth so deceitful your tale
sweet whispers of hope, promises of time
illusionist Youth true visage you veil
heavenly vision art thou?
in truth all are blind

Vile Youth your insatiable hunger
blinds us all with desire to retain
smooth soft skin of the younger
with Age we plead in vain

Chimerical Youth
by Age your pursued
avoiding her wisdom
all beauty is temporary truth

wretched Youth false promises you leave
on all lips you kiss, delighting in deceit
away from me lover I taste on your breath
beneath your sweetness a decay
putrescent perfume of death
