One Hundred Candles

by Alisa Js

I long to gaze at you by candle light
One hundred candles
All over my bedroom,
We'll welcome the night
And lay together
Blissfully aroused
By the light of our romantic dream
Come true,
Me and you ...

We'll have music playing
Soft and low
And watch the flames as they dance around,
Feel the heat of our desire
Rise,
Seductive and slow
With the scent of gardenias from those one hundred candles,
Dancing through the air
Each flash of the flame
Silky and sweet
Yet electrifying,
As we drink of this wine
What an excellent time
Waiting for us ...

I dream of tracing your outline
Against satin sheets,
With nothing more than kisses discreet
Sexy you!
I can hardly wait
For that day of forever
and you ...

Well written and a topic I've been pondering to write about lately. The candlelight is a pleasing visual setting.
