"Nuances of the Everyday"

by Max Phineas

When you smile toward the heavens
And the stars gaze back at you

When you look into the ocean
And it licks the sand beneath you

When you stand atop a mountain
And the Earth is but a shadow

There's a miracle in the making
And a new song to be sung.

When her soul fills with your love
And her love falls back on you

Or the Sun shines through the window
Prismatic colors on the wall

Or the rain falls on your rooftop
Tapping rhythms in the wind

There's a miracle in the making
And a new life to be lived.

A tree sways
A leaf falls
A child plays
A bird calls...

And still we pray for miracles

just as beautiful as nature itself...praying and dreaming for that miracle is just something we all like to believe in

simply beautiful...this reads like a song, all softly flowing and hopeful
