Pathetic New Year's Resolution by A. Paige WhiteNew Year's
Res'o-lu'tion n
1. A formal expression of opinion or intention by a group, as a legislature.
The final sum for the group of words defining resolution is five. Five fingers in that clenched fist.
2. The act or process of resolving.
Act two. Two verse seven.
They couldn't for the life of them figure out what was going on, and kept saying, "Aren't these all Galileans? How come we're hearing them talk in our various mother tongues? ...
...They're speaking our languages, describing God's mighty works!" Their heads were spinning; they couldn't make head or tail of any of it. They talked back and forth, confused: "What's going on here?"
Other's joked, "They're drunk on cheap wine."
3. The state or quality of being resolute; determination.
It's determined I am
It's determined I'll be
to skip, write past, this number three.
4. A solution as of a problem.
Which means I will need to understand the problem in order to find the solution.
The problem is my resolve has dissolved, must have soaked it in cheap wine.
5. I've gotten bored now. This is not the actual definition as listed for number five
The degree or sharpness of a computer generated mirage as treasured by the thunder of a dot paradigm with vertical verbal clinch in a printout or the number of pixies up and down two thousand seven's screen.
01/01/2007 Author's Note: If you've resolved to learn the definitions words that are hazy in your mind or you're bored with the same old redundancies and prefer random house gibberish, ad nauseum, this may be the most pathetic definition you could find.
It is when we notice the dirt that God is most present in us; it is the very sign of His presence. C.S. Lewis- Readings for the year: The Business of Heaven, January 1.
