My Wish by Alisa Jsif I could have but one wish come true
can you guess the wish I would want?
it wouldn't be riches
fortune
or fame,
all those mean nothing to me
without you ...
if I could taste sunshine every morning
when I rise,
greet the day with a kiss and a smile
I would want to share them
from daybreak to midnight
and all in between
we could feast on the wonder of just being
around each other, amazed
floating on clouds
it wouldn't matter,
laughing and loving
playing or crying,
anything at all
as long as there was you ...
we could travel across this place we call home
our world,
and together we'd share those memories
made and almost forgotten
back when we were nothing but kids,
seen now through the eyes of admiration ...
there is nothing I want more than this,
no one I want
more than you ...
