She has such angst in her life

That it swells forth like the tide

In midsummer on some forgotten beach.

So much pain that does remain

As to why, I simply do not know.

I view this pain, glazed in sorrowful eye

While she casts such pearls downward.

She has to live with it all, these lies

As her life spirals out of control.
