Six Poems by Joe CramerI wrote six poems today,
Why, what were they for?
How much more could I say
For that reason, if but to bore?
I penned another verse or two,
What was left for me to do?
All I could do was to write
In some dimly lit bar, on a paper napkin, so trite. 12/26/2006 Author's Note: I'm that guy that you may have seen always carrying a book to read, scribbling words down on random pieces of paper, a wry grin on my face.

| Posted by A. Paige White on 12/26/06 at 07:20 PM So you're that guy! I'm that gal you see bumping into stuff, the one that's trying not to be rude when you're talking to her, but there's this inner dialogue going on... with some "significant other" that you just can't see..., and sometimes that other dialogue gets loudest... Love the author's note! |
