A Poem a Day

That you will never see.
It helps me in a way
To hold a love that will never be.
You left me alone, it's true,
For a reason known only to yourself.
My broken heart is forever blue
As I leave it forsaken on a shelf. 10/10/2003 Author's Note: Somehow, I still manage to write a poem a day...
