Hitch Hiking

by Joe Cramer

I saw a lady, pick up a man

Hitchhiking down my street.

She did not know him, in fact

She told him that when they meet

He was to always take a ride

In her car, to go to her home.

She was quite direct, nice, yet determined

The he arrive home faster, and not be alone.
