The happy Buddha sits

Upon my desk

Smiling at me

Or in the midst

Of a huge laugh.

(I never know which.)

The happy Buddha

Remains me

Of the dharma path

I take,

My meditations

With a little

Yoga

Thrown in for

Good measure.

Mainly it reminds me

That the best way

Is no way.
