This world is not enough for me

To hold in my hands, so tenderly.

This life that we have been given

Holds such a promise to be forgiven.

What is now left for any to hold

Now that my heart has grown so cold.

Longing to grasp life at its base

Hoping that time will somehow erase.

This world is not enough for me

Only the love in my heart will set it free.
