Nobody Move, Nobody Gets Hurt

by Elizabeth Seago

To whom it may concern:

I care not,
What physchobabble
Has crept up and out of his
Toxic,
fuming lips.

Remember: The lacerations you've
Carefully bandaged and
Nursed back to
(Daunting Reminders)
Were inflicted by words

Which were cloaked in similar
"Pure" and "Honest"
Irises.

Everyone's got an angle.
