Ocean Stretch by H.M StevensOn a beach (where) the rocks spelled
I love you,
And we caught crab shell waves
numbed our feet cold
I tried to remember, forever
Infinitude of cascading scenes of cascading scenes
Your hand pressed so delicately over mine
A thumbnail tickling my chest
Flowing through our sand drift,
I thought to ask.
When the sun begins to slip
I curl into you and we lay there warm.
Catching myself,
I reach at your soft back,
Your odor arousing
Once, we floated with the Copal
Danced to its evaporation point
And my lips kissed you, moistened by the oil
From your skin
Later that night
We tend to our feast,
The campfire we made.
flames swirl,
Succeeding into eternity,
And there is nothing to recall
