what fate has wrought upon our lives
two friends so fraught with two desires

for one a memory that mocks the past
the other a fence towards greener grass

but let me tell you friend to fear
in what you seek shall bring you dear

love comes not from the one you seek
but from within, your peace will peek

life will prove this prose I speak
So allow thyself to be unique

friendship is like the moon that glows
and love the sun that soothes the soul

love will warm you in the light
this friend will guide you in the night
