Colors of the End

by Christopher Shin

Each hands grasping
for the a last moment.
When things seem
to be so far and in
between you and I.

So let's think about
how easy it is.
To say simple words,
but pride and life
drives us further
away.

So let the darkness
burn through the
vessels of each
red strand of
life.

Colors can not
solve anything,
and beauty fades and
age becomes the
wrinkle of time

And there is
nothing we can do.
Since life and love
wedges us further
into time.

When memories fade,
and it ends always
this way.
