Annoying babble of aggravating fools
Ones who know nothing of truth,
Creeping they come with their pretense of friendship
While underneath secretly seething,
Fueled by jealously and rage
They spew vicious rumors,
None of them true
Anything to make me pay,
For perceived wrongs to them
Tho' no one's really doing any talking ...

Closer, they sneak to the fire
If only to gaze at the flame,
Of the love in my heart for that exquisite one
As they try to erect the tallest wall,
With their pathetic excuse for a brain
Try as they might ...
To keep him away from true love
Make him forget about me,
But what they don't get or understand
Is this
True love has an eternal flame ...

If you were the one I have loved all my life
If you were the only one for me,
This would explain why all those others
Were just imitations,
They could never come close to you
When it's true love ...

I know you love that word,
Sounds so funny to my heart when you say
'Smirking severely', so cute
Just like you
But more than cute

Charmed beyond measure this heart of mine
