In This Moment

by Alisa Js

to feel quite like this between fractured reprieves
is kind of like gazing inside a butterfly's face
so tender and shy
yet with such elegance
sensitive soul
sweet and seductively chaste
tho' not void of all innocence
completely

steps across time found their way to my realm
these footprints of whispered sighs
listen close
you're there soft as cotton candy
I fall, but not scared like before
those landing plates
how they would clamor
and shake out the sense of it all

this new and pristine stage
I've never been here
yet it feels like home
In this moment
There is no beginning or end
we celebrate right now
for it's all we've been given
to know

I like this, especially the first line, which may be one of the best lines I've read in awhile. Really nice work.

Like being reborn. Great imagery again.
