One Perfect Day by Christopher ShinCrystal blue skies
kiss as the bow of
spectrums of light
creates an arch.
I lay down in a
bed of fields,
and flowers linger upward
like sentinel trees
begging for grace.
I can only smile
as memories of youth
and the moment flickers
for a moment in my
mind.
Storm clouds crouches
in the distant.
Will I love this moment,
or regret the perfection
of the moment gone in
the end.
As I cry and beg
for that one perfect day,
but sooner or later I will
find fault in
the moment and hate
the fact that it was ever there.
