There are footsteps around us
Hear that clicking of heels?
Soft shoes walk without sound,
Quietly they follow and silently stray
Along that next realm where harmony abounds in full measure...

All is so very peaceful here
Deep inside the ether,
Listen closely and you'll hear the small whisper
Of your soul in the stillness of forever,
On the edge of eternity's flame,
The answers arrive to the questions yet asked
Feel how they roll off your tongue with a smile,
Without malice or forethought
They simply exist
Within this presence of ecstasy's bliss
In this land where time is of no consequence ...

Let us remain here, in this place
This sanctuary of the mind,
Where thoughts freely roam
Unfettered by doubts or fear,
Untarnished by all that is dark and unholy
Pristine in their expression,
How glorious!

We will sit by the river that runs, endless
Under streams of enlightenment while enjoying the mist
Cascading all through our souls,
Drink deeply of this nectar, sweet
This refreshing elixir, mysterious
With each thirsty heartbeat ...

Take leave of those shackles that bind
Break free from those chains and live once again, with me
Where we will blossom and know
The miracle of love and each other ...
