Autumn's Breath

by Jennifer Ragan

Autumn's breath trimmed the trees.
Bursts of colors dance in its breeze.

Autumn's breath, a kiss of dew.
With each sunrise, a different hue.

Autumn's breath touched the sky,
As clouds of gray, begin to cry.

Autumn's breath, a fading yawn,
“One last breath, then I’ll be gone.”

Autumn's breath slips away,
Old Man Winter's on his way.

Hi Jennifer. This is wonderful, unforced rhyme. I find the couplets very pleasing, indeed. My potd suggestion today. Nice work. Thanks.
