Bursting with love and hearts full of joy
Sparkling sets of trusting eyes looking up at me,
Ashley, Java and Snacky,
Precious to my life, these three
Silver fluff ball, mocha face and tiger striped
Wanting to come home with me,
Their home....

Three little angels, three little rascals
What would I do if they faded?
At the animal hospital
I can't wait 'til they get better,
Just a few more days
It feels like years...

I stopped by to visit this afternoon
To check on my babies, all three
Peeking through the window
So cute!
Twelve fuzzy legs with fur...
Heads in their paws and just laying there,
Motionless almost
Until they saw me
Then dashing around,
Little motors that purred
As I held each one close,
Softly calling their names...

I don't know who was happier!
Me or them,
Just being together, again
Can't wait till they come home
So our hearts can mend
And a family again, we'll be...

Author's Note: to Ashley, Java and Snacky... "Ashley is Silver Maine Coon mix, 8 yrs. old., Java is a Modern Seal Point Saimese, 3 yrs. old., and Snacky is an American Shorthair, 5 yrs.old....my three little cat babies...who had to see their vet and be boarded as they too, almost died from this insidious toxic mold that crept into my apartment. The vet will not authorize a release from them until I move into a new residence...that's how serious this black toxic mold is..Lethal !!! (They had to stay in an animal hospital from Feb.19, 2006 to April 4, 2006) p.s. sadly, Ashley was killed by an irresponsible vet on August 22, 2006, how my heart grieves for him.
