How can these feelings be denied?
It's been far too long and we've both felt them too,
Just afraid to say or even speak
What's so plainly obvious to all,
Yet somehow if we dance around these words
Crying to be heard,
Do we really think we can fool our hearts
Into believing -
We're nothing more than friends?
Friends of course, that goes without saying
But what kind of friend simply craves your touch?
What kind of friend yearns for more
And not from just anyone, only you?

How do I explain this passion within
That screams your name?
I cannot tame this fire inside that ignites,
The sweetness of your love incites me
Towards ecstasy everytime we open that door ...

I've got to know you feel it, too
How this burns right through my soul,
And I won't quit 'till I know for sure
The same is true for you,
I've just got to know
You need me, too ...
