Unfold in Time

by Alison McKenzie

I am with you now,
Though geographically we live
In separate spaces -
Your soul to mine,
And mine to yours -
We dance.

You are with me, too,
Though your eyes twinkle
In a mirror I cannot see yet -
My soul to yours
And yours to mine -
We laugh.

We dwell concurrently
On parallel paths,
Core to core,
Though the thread is unseen -
We are cut from the same cloth,
Synchronistic new destiny -
We weave

Our voices lift in song
And deed,
Though the blend is not always audible -
Harmonious new melody
Of crystals humming -
We sing.

Future verses to unfold in timeĀ…
