pursuing a streetcar named knowledge by Jared Fladelandas anyone ever wondered why
shimmer and simmer
are so alike yet so different?
do babies understand the concept
of God,
or do they still remember
what paradise was
before they got kicked out of the garden?
i think jesus could've been a hippy.
i mean, they look similar,
everyone's got their hair pulled down
and sandals, and robes.
and this peaceful smirk
glowing across their face.
i ask you in all seriousness:
why is my cat wiser than me? 11/22/2006 Posted on 11/22/2006 Copyright © 2024 Jared Fladeland

Posted by George Hoerner on 11/22/06 at 06:07 PM Listen to "JC Superstar" sometime. Not that it really gives you answers but poses some interesting questions which should be one of many maps to look for answere. We are all born with an immense ego. We are taught to want many things we do not need including understanding. It is the path not the end which your cat accepts and you may not. |
Posted by Katerina T Nix on 11/24/06 at 12:14 AM I know exactly how you feel! This was a really great read, Jared. I have this picture of a cat in my head wearing a beret and talking about Socrates' theory of opposites.... or something.. Well done :) Kat |
