i'm a sucker for a lost cause by Aaron Michaelgreyscale was surpassed by color
until someone put your face
in black and white.
though single frames capture
mere instants,
frozen ticks of time
it's said that they're worth
all the words needed to describe them
i'd begin, if i thought i'd ever finish.
exausting languages i know,
and some i don't,
and those that time
has left forgotten
seems insignifigant.
i'd trade my ability to think
for one sentence
that would set the record straight.
as if there ever could be.
i'm better off searching
for the holy grail until
i see you again.
but i'm a sucker for a lost cause.
