We, the ones my age, nineteen this year,
Delight in a rebellion against unanswered questions.
Even when we seem to not rebel
Deep inside we are still asking, "Why?"
A few of us still go to church and
Hold tightly to the old ideals of our parents,
Generation X, or perhaps, Baby Boomer.
Yet we all ask the same question, "Why?"
Or, "Why not?" just another variation of the same old question.
Is not the question of, "Why?" the root of all rebellions?
