dark rain

by Peter Humphreys

dangerous
downward
dripping
dank
dark
drops

exhausting
elusive
eager
empty
efforts
escape

chattering
children
clowning
clapping
clawing
choking

sullen
sombre
secrets
slyly
sold
silently

Reads like a hammered, hard rain falling. The impact is just excellent, Peter. Thanks.

The best part of dark rain is the reflection it leaves on the pool in the end and the ripples made by your pen.
