Sorrowless damp

by Shirin Swift

irradiates the bones of your fierce skull
twin masks one among many
what is it that distinguishes

abstracting tears looping hair to
the crescent of a backward-facing moon
isn't that all we are from foetus to whenever wherever

mascara misshapens
shadowless damp irradiates
the furtherest bones of your face

lamp's listenings omniscient motion of coral shade cloth
ushers our car to the ocean
your hands develop from mine

one among many what if anything
distinguishes our sounds from deaf flowers
persistent dazzling, un-pecuniary organic

revolution completes ever-fetching
dark sinuses bronchial stagnant whispers
indite depths branching in either direction

Interesting imagery and language. There's some pretty interesting work here.
