indestructible

by Maria Francesca

You can say anything you want;
You can't embarrass me
shock me
move me.

You can stab me in the back
gouge my eyes
stomp on my toes;
I won't mind at all.

I owe this super-strength to you

because, after all,
once you kill a person
you can't hurt them anymore.
